Esri CityEngine 2013 Incorporates e-on software Plant Factory™ Plant Library

WORLD'S LEADING GIS SOLUTION PROVIDER ADOPTS E-ON SOFTWARE PLANT FACTORY TECHNOLOGY

December 12, 2013 Beaverton, Oregon: E-on software is pleased to announce that Esri, the world's leading GIS company, has incorporated a new Plant Factory™ tree and shrub library as part of its recently announced CityEngine 2013 solution.

Built using e-on's revolutionary Plant Factory™ technology, this library delivers exceptionally rich and realistic looking 3D plants directly inside of CityEngine scenes. In addition, this plant library is fully compatible with e-on's LumenRT GeoDesign Immersive Visualization solution which allows Esri CityEngine users to transform their models into high-fidelity, interactive LiveCubes™, videos, and images.

The CityEngine 2013 3D Plant Library

The CityEngine 2013 plant library contains over 80 species of trees, shrubs, and flowers and is available in full 3D and 2-1/2D fan-style formats. The library works directly with any CityEngine rule base to create tree-lined streets, parks, and forests directly inside a CityEngine scene. When exported into LumenRT, CityEngine plants are automatically converted into high-fidelity breeze animated vegetation.

LumenRT 4.4 GeoDesign Plugin

E-on software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of the LumenRT 4.4 GeoDesign Plugin which is fully compatible with the new ESRI CityEngine 2013. The LumenRT 4.4. GeoDesign plugin adds the ability to work directly with CityEngine 2013 plants and improves the export of CityEngine terrain objects. Current LumenRT GeoDesign users can download the plugin directly from their e-on account page.
