Destinator Technologies Expands Business to North American Market

Leading Provider of Personalized Navigation Software Establishes US Headquarters, Builds on Strength as Navigation Software of Choice Among OEMs and ODMs

Scottsdale, Arizona – August 29, 2005 – Destinator Technologies, the leading provider of personalized navigation software and live navigation based mobile services, today announced its entry into the North American market with the establishment of its US headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona. The move is the latest milestone in the company’s strategy to expand its global presence, which now extends across North America, Europe, Israel, and the Asia-Pacific.

Selling its solutions exclusively through channels, Destinator Technologies is the navigation software supplier of choice for OEMs and ODMs worldwide, and it is one of the top three navigation solution providers in Europe. Based its current run rate, Destinator Technologies expects to ship more than 1 million sets of its products to markets around the world, up 233 percent from the 300,000 units delivered in 2004.

In North America, Destinator’s award-winning software for personal navigation currently is available through Mio Technology and Orient Power complemented by map partnerships through Navteq and TeleAtlas. The company also is working with its other global partners, such as Acer, Asus, d-Media Systems, Eten, Mitac, HISYS, Mobile Computing Corporation (MCC), and Thinkware, to extend their support to the North American market.
