MultiVision USA Success Leads Aerial Cartographics to Record Growth

ORLANDO, Fla., 1 February 2007 – Aerial Cartographics of America (ACA) announced a record 27 percent growth in 2006 due to its expanded MultiVision USA operations. An ACA company, MultiVision USA succeeded in capturing a significant share of the oblique imagery market in 2006.

“With such outstanding success in only its first full year of operation, MultiVision USA has a very bright future in the growing market for oblique imagery,” said Jim Humphrey, President of ACA. “MultiVision USA’s current order backlog will enable the company to double its financial performance in 2007.”

ACA credits much of MultiVision USA’s rapid success to its introduction of the MultiVision 3D Plus solution, the first integrated oblique aerial imagery and 3D viewing solution designed for multiple diverse applications within a federal, state or local government organization.

Acquired with a proprietary aerial imaging system, MVUSA imagery offers a pixel resolution of +3 inches, sufficient to identify and measure even small building details or infrastructure assets. The MultiVision 3D Plus solution includes 3D modeling capabilities showing actual building facades, 3D flood inundation analyses, and integration of existing GIS layers.

“ACA is committed to increasing MultiVision USA’s penetration into the oblique imagery market,” said Humphrey. “We will continue to reinvest profits in 2007 to further expand the MultiVision USA operations.”

MultiVision 3D Plus enables users to view infrastructure in true 3D and run simulation analyses, like floods and storm surges, in their GIS environment without third-party vendors or expensive software add-ons. MultiVision 3D Plus offers a fast and easy multi-perspective image viewing application for every local government department, especially Property Appraisal, Public Safety and Public Works.”

“MultiVision 3D Plus filled a void in the oblique imagery market among county and city governments that wanted to share their imagery investment with other departments for use in a variety of applications ranging from property appraisal and infrastructure management to public safety and disaster planning,” said MultiVision President Dave Ledgerwood.

About MultiVision USA

The MultiVision imagery database and software provide several advantages over other oblique aerial products. MultiVision processing technology registers the oblique images to standard orthophotography to create a multi-dimensional viewing environment in the end user’s chosen coordinate system, resulting in accurate feature identification and measurement. In addition, the MultiVision software provides easy-to-use 3D modeling functionality. Perhaps most importantly, MultiVision clients own the imagery they purchase from MultiVision USA. MultiVision continues to grow rapidly county by county throughout the USA providing the most advanced and user friendly professional oblique imagery solution to all users within state, county and local governments.
