The City of Santa Fe, New Mexico Selects Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) to Implement GIS Software Solutions

April 24, 2007 -- Longview, Texas – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announced today that the City of Santa Fe, New Mexico has procured licenses of LGaddress and LGweb from GTG’s LG GIS software suite.

LGweb is an Intranet GIS data browser that allows everyone from employees, managers, and field crew to be able to visualize GIS data in conjunction with billing, consumption, work order, and other data residing in the City’s land management databases.

LGaddress allows users to maintain address points, and ensures a 100% match rate of the land database modules via an intuitive ArcEngine based GIS application. This tool is specifically designed to allow for database maintenance via a GIS interface to update address data and other mission critical attributes from GIS layers to the land management databases.

James Kelt, GTG’s Regional Manager and head of GTG’s Texas office said, “The combination of LGweb and LGaddress has given the City of Santa Fe the ability to now spatially enable their land management databases with 100% accuracy of locations such as meters, work orders, code enforcement violations, building permits, occupational licenses and accounts receivable. LGweb is an intranet application that gives users the ability to query and map the City’s GIS information, aerial photography, and land management databases on every desktop. LGaddress is a management tool that ensures that every record within the City’s databases is mapped correctly with the most up to date attributes for use in LGweb. These tools will take the City’s GIS to the entire enterprise and will give every department the tools necessary to perform their job more effectively.”

GTG provides several LG products that provide a GIS interface for many land and public safety modules. The City’s implementation of these LG applications continues to add to the rapidly expanding number of cities and counties that are utilizing LG GIS as a distributable and unifying technology.
