NOTICE TO SERVICE PROVIDERS

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

RFP# 323-11-016

The Nevada Department of Transportation is soliciting proposals for a qualified Service Provider to Identify Costs and Impacts of Integrating NDOT’s Safety Management System into Enterprise Geographical Information Systems [Environmental Systems Research Institute (ESRI)], and to develop a Technology Investment Request (TIR) should it be required.

Service Providers not currently prequalified (or desiring to prequalify) in the Statewide Geographical Information Systems (GIS) discipline will first be reviewed to determine prequalification status.  Any proposals submitted that do not meet the prequalification requirements will be returned to the Service Provider without further review.

Request for Proposal may be downloaded from our website by visiting the “Doing Business” section of NDOT’s website, www.nevadadot.com, or by requesting a hard copy at the Nevada Department of Transportation, Agreement Services, 1263 South Stewart Street, Room 101, Carson City, Nevada 89712, (775) 888-7070.  Contact with NDOT personnel, other than Agreement Services, regarding these services will not be allowed during the advertisement period of this request for proposal.  Any questions raised by Proposers must be in writing to Agreement Services, at 1263 South Stewart Street, Room 101, Carson City, Nevada 89712 or faxed to (775) 888-7101 or email to Email Contact and received by 3:00 p.m., on Monday, September 12, 2011.  Written responses will be distributed by the NDOT on or before Thursday, September 15, 2011.  All proposals will be accepted until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011 at the Nevada Department of Transportation, Agreement Services, Room 101, 1263 South Stewart Street, Carson City, Nevada 89712.  The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals or to accept the proposal best suited for the interests of the State of Nevada.
