C4ISR Summit 2016

The past year has witnessed a change in paradigm for security in the Gulf, with a decreased emphasis on the traditional adversary in the North to a new asymmetrical threat which the GCC and its allies now faces in Yemen. This conflict demands even more from C4ISR systems, with an enhanced need for war fighters to be able to distinguish between military and civilian targets in real-time and the need to effectively share information between the different partners in the coalition without hesitation.



2016 GIS and Health Symposium

The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), in partnership with the American Public Health Association (APHA), invites abstract submissions for the 2016 GIS and Health Symposium. The theme for this year's Symposium is “Mapping the Way to Healthy Communities”. The event will take place June 1-3, 2016 in Washington, DC.

Abstract submissions are due on March 15, 2016.

The Symposium program will be developed, in large part, from abstracts submitted by the community through this Call. The Committee welcomes the submission of individual papers, complete sessions, and panel discussions on a variety of topics. We are specifically interested in abstracts related to the following topics.

13th Conference on Computer and Robot Vision

The submission deadline for CRV 2016 is rapidly approaching. Submissions will be accepted until February 21, 2016, 11 PM PST.

CRV is an annual conference hosted in Canada, and co-located with Graphics Interface (GI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). 

The 2016 AI/GI/CRV Conference is a collaboration of three leading conferences: Artificial Intelligence 2016Graphics Interface 2016 and Computer and Robot Vision 2016. It will bring together hundreds of leaders in research, industry, and government, as well as Canada's most accomplished students, to showcase Canada's ingenuity, innovation and leadership in intelligent systems and advanced information and communications technology.

6th International Conference on Cartography & GIS
