Pipelines for major energy resources are
not merely an element of trade. They connect to issues of geopolitics

interests and actions.
Pipeline failures generally result in
high incident events that can have devastating impact on life,
reputation, production and environment. The risk of pipeline explosions,
leakages, corrosion, vandalism, and sabotage can have catastrophic
results on the environment and tarnish the reputation of the biggest oil
and gas companies.
