In 2010 the first joint UK Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society and Irish Earth Observation Symposium conference will be held in Cork, Ireland. It will be hosted by University College Cork and the National Maritime College of Ireland from 31st August to 3rd September 2010.
Although the conference covers all aspects of satellite navigation, the following special sessions will be organised in order to address particular causes of GNSS vulnerabilities:- Core and augmentation satellite navigation systems- Safety-critical applications- Space weather and ionospheric effects- Location-based services (LBS)- Intelligent transport systems (ITS)
