GeoMedia 2013 Includes a New, Modern Interface and More

Monday, October 29th, 2012

Before the end of the year, Intergraph Geospatial Portfolio 2013 will be released. The complete and robust offering includes new product releases that cohesively meet an organization’s geospatial needs.

As part of Intergraph Geospatial 2013, we are excited to announce that GeoMedia 2013 will feature a newly designed, modern user interface that logically organizes functionality in a ribbon control.  GeoMedia is a powerful GIS management package that enables users to maximize the value of their geospatial resources.

We recently hosted a webinar that specifically laid out all of the new enhancements to GeoMedia. Providing greater visibility for frequently used GIS tools, GeoMedia 2013 aesthetically and logically organizes functionality.  In the same vein of promoting key updates to GeoMedia, we are also enhancing users’ ability to open up their GeoMedia spatial resources and share them with end users throughout their organization.

Introducing ERDAS IMAGINE 2013

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012

We live in a world that requires organizations to have a real sense of the world around them – from air, space and on the ground.   As such, geospatial data has become the backbone for driving fundamental decisions that ensure organizational success, as well as for supporting government program missions.

Later this year, we are launching Intergraph Geospatial 2013, offering the full spectrum of geospatial technology in a united release. With a fresh approach, this technology enables organizations to discover and exploit the wealth of information contained in data from any source, share it rapidly and deliver it on demand to drive smarter decisions.

Recently, we hosted a webinar that showcased one of the products included in this release, highlighting how ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 expands on its proven technology.  With a host of usability enhancements and new features, users can do more with multiple types of data.

National Irish Electrical Network Extends GIS Workflows into Business Systems

Tuesday, October 2nd, 2012

Utility providers are challenged with the complex process of managing all of their field assets, which are subject to weather-related damages and vegetation growth.  In addition, electrical distribution networks are often very vast and serve large populations that expect reliable services at all times.

Geospatial solutions have become the backbone for enabling and automating plots and network diagrams for fast and effective decision making.  Today, many GIS technologies now interface with other business and operational management systems, which extend and integrate workflows with other business critical systems.
