Intergraph Geospatial 2013 Brings A Robust and Unified Portfolio to Reality

December 10th, 2012 by Mladen Stojic, President of Hexagon Geospatial

It is with great excitement that we are announcing the official release of Intergraph Geospatial 2013 today! This release is a portfolio of geospatial products for completing projects on time, on budget while maintaining the highest level of fidelity to customer needs.

For the first time, all geospatial genres are truly connected in one unified, modern and dynamic software release. We have integrated photogrammetry, remote sensing, and GIS into a streamlined system, seamlessly delivering geographic information from the desktop to the server through the web and to the world.

A new generation of users is also entering the geospatial workforce, shifting requirements for both mature and emerging markets.  This new generation has different expectations for how software applications should work and operate. Today’s users have been molded by the explosion of elegant and highly intuitive web, mobile and tablet applications.

Today, users expect better geospatial design, and are active participants in the technology renaissance that is taking place all around us. Intergraph Geospatial 2013 incorporates these ideas, providing a new and fresh approach to building smart geospatial solutions. This includes combining creative and intuitive interfaces, smarter workflows and automated technology.

Our clever and well-designed products define new standards for usability and user experience. We believe that powerful, but simple solutions take on the highest form of elegance, and used this philosophy to drive all software design.

To meet these changes in the marketplace, the Intergraph Geospatial 2013 release supports the entire information lifecycle – transforming multi-source content into dynamic information that is authoritative, active, accurate, portable and relevant. From data capture and fusion in an integrated environment to on-demand geo-processing and rapid production of maps to specification, we now deliver real-time intelligence to users.

With this new launch, Intergraph is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly based provider of geospatial software – with one unified portfolio that incorporates all genres of geospatial technology.

From a products perspective, this united and highly comprehensive portfolio includes new releases of GeoMedia, ERDAS IMAGINE, LPS, ImageStation, ERDAS APOLLO, GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia Web Map, Geospatial Portal and Geospatial SDI. On the product pages, you will find new demo movies, product literature, news, screenshots, and more. Other resources include our comprehensive What’s New document and on-demand webinars.

Clearly this is an exciting time for Intergraph and the industry as a whole, but we want to hear from you!  Please check out our new microsite regarding the launch and, today, software maintenance customers can officially download new versions of the products here.
