January 7th, 2014 by Mladen Stojic, President of Hexagon Geospatial

We are excited to announce the official launch of Intergraph Geospatial 2014, your comprehensive portfolio of industry leading technologies.

Building upon the foundation introduced in 2013, this release provides the most advanced analytical tools, mobile support, and tremendous cost savings associated with managing big data.

While each organization is unique, we believe there are shared needs for strong analytical, mobile, and data management tools. Intergraph Geospatial 2014’s configurable offerings work together as a complete dynamic geospatial solution, addressing each of these needs.  With the 2014 release, we are synchronizing all of our technologies across product lines – broadening your reach and availability for fully integrated solutions for all of our customers.

In Intergraph Geospatial 2014, you will see creative and intuitive interfaces, smarter workflows and automated technologies that support the entire geospatial information lifecycle, transforming multi-source content into dynamic and actionable information.

The portfolio includes GeoMedia, ERDAS IMAGINE, ImageStation, ERDAS APOLLO, GeoMedia Smart Client, GeoMedia WebMap, Geospatial Portal, Geospatial SDI, Intergraph Mobile MapWorks and Intergraph Mobile Alert.

The following are the key enhancements built within Intergraph Geospatial 2014:

  • Create Customized Analytics:  Users can leverage highly intuitive spatial modeling for creating powerful data analysis once, and repeat it indefinitely.
  • Powerful Real-Time Reporting in Mobile Environment:  Users can see, edit, validate and update their GIS from their mobile device in the field, in real-time with Intergraph Mobile MapWorks.  In addition, Intergraph Mobile Alert provides crowd-sourced incident information to organizations such as governments and utilities.
  • Big Data Management in the Cloud: ERDAS APOLLO has been expanded as the core enterprise data catalog with the management of basic vector data to the Advantage and Professional tiers of this offering. In addition, GeoMedia® Smart Client users can now easily convert datasets from the server side vector cache to raster output as .png or .jpg tiles. ERDAS IMAGINE also quickly solves many big data problems through its 64-bit hardware support.

We look forward to an exciting 2014, and this enhanced offering reinforces Intergraph’s commitment to providing the most dynamic geospatial solutions in the marketplace.

The driving force behind this release is a deeper understanding of customer needs met by the right geospatial solutions for rapid and advanced decision making.
