Advanced Remote Sensing Analysis and Spatial Modeling Capabilities with ERDAS IMAGINE 2013

Monday, February 4th, 2013

The need to scale geospatial data production capabilities continues to increase, as technologies once segmented become integrated. Large organizations need to react to rapid global changes with smart decision-making.   This requires advanced remote sensing analysis and spatial modeling to make data truly actionable.

Intergraph recently launched ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 as part of the Intergraph Geospatial Portfolio 2013.  ERDAS IMAGINE equips users to create new information by visualizing results in 2D, 3D, movies, and on cartographic-quality map compositions.

This release expands sensor support and offers a wide array of new features, including a suite of tools for handing point clouds and a next-generation spatial modeler.

The new point cloud suite enables users to simultaneously view point clouds in 2D and 3D and user defined profiles as well as providing advanced editing and analysis capabilities.

High-Volume Commercial Photogrammetry and Production Mapping Capabilities Come to Life

Wednesday, November 28th, 2012

Photogrammetry is a vital component of the geospatial information lifecycle. After data capture, photogrammetric software provides enhanced production mapping, as well the ability to move large quantities of raw data to exploitable formats, for improved decision-making.

As experts in photogrammetry, Intergraph provides software for production, project and do-it-yourself photogrammetry software. In Intergraph Geospatial Portfolio 2013, we provide major improvements to users engaged in high-volume photogrammetry and production mapping.  The ImageStation software suite enables digital photogrammetry workflows, including project creation, orientation and triangulation, 3D feature collection and editing, digital terrain model (DTM) collection and editing, and orthophoto production using aerial and satellite imagery.

ImageStation 2013 includes:

  • Enhanced project creation, orientation and triangulation
  • 3D feature collection and editing
  • Digital terrain model (DTM) collection and editing
  • Orthophoto production using aerial and satellite imagery

This release also includes new capabilities for dense terrain extraction from digital aerial frame imagery, new opportunities for distributable processing, and increased support for ingesting surfaces.

Introducing ERDAS IMAGINE 2013

Tuesday, October 23rd, 2012

We live in a world that requires organizations to have a real sense of the world around them – from air, space and on the ground.   As such, geospatial data has become the backbone for driving fundamental decisions that ensure organizational success, as well as for supporting government program missions.

Later this year, we are launching Intergraph Geospatial 2013, offering the full spectrum of geospatial technology in a united release. With a fresh approach, this technology enables organizations to discover and exploit the wealth of information contained in data from any source, share it rapidly and deliver it on demand to drive smarter decisions.

Recently, we hosted a webinar that showcased one of the products included in this release, highlighting how ERDAS IMAGINE 2013 expands on its proven technology.  With a host of usability enhancements and new features, users can do more with multiple types of data.
