A setting that will benefit sustainable design is the World Resources Simulation Center (WRSC), a proposed immersive visualization facility where people can “see” critical trends and issues and relationships between them – plus consequences of “what if” strategies. It is expected to provide a cooperative environment for governments, business, NGOs and educators. I met one of the people involved in this effort at the GeoDesign Summit. The facility is not yet built, but they are actively seeking partners, expertise and investment for the project. |
