Using ArcGIS 10 and Census to interpolate the population within a radius of a location.

This tutorial will show you how to use areal interpolation to calculate the number of people living within a certain radius of a location. In this demo I use airports located in Maricopa County, Arizona.

Using ArcMap 10 to join Excel data with a shapefile

This video uses the join method to add user created data from an Excel file to a shapefile of airport locations.

Opening and looking at Census shapefiles on QGIS

Using the Open Source QGIS program to open and look at Shapefiles.
