Earlier this year, ESRI converted its software distributor in Chile (INCOM) into ESRI Chile S.A. This step will improve local support and service, as well as help expand the growth of GIS throughout the region. The company is strengthening its presence in existing markets, including government, mining, utilities, forestry, and education, and expanding into other areas, such as business, logistics, transportation, and infrastructure.
