The United States population is growing, diversifying, working, and aging. All of this activity is dramatically altering the U.S. demographic landscape. These striking changes were revealed during the annual completion of ESRI's demographic data updates and projections. Based on demographic data update models that were completely revised due to the catastrophic 2005 hurricane season and the addition of comprehensive data from new sources, ESRI's 2006/2011 demographic data updates have significantly increased the level of accuracy. ESRI's data development team carefully reviewed and verified all of the data contained in the update. This comprehensive process ensures that ESRI will continue to provide the best demographic data in the marketplace
