The founder of Sportsim wanted to provide a Web-based software application with graphically simulated performance information to people who enjoy outdoor sports activities. “We thought of this idea after seeing the increasing use of GPS, heart rate monitors, chip timing technology, and the Internet, especially in outdoor training and sporting events,” says Gjermund Weisz, CEO, Sportsim. “We wanted to create an application that would enhance anyone’s ability to share, prepare, analyze, and view performances.”
