The project’s aim is to provide work experience in the development and maintenance of GIS data resources on the National Forests in Alabama. This includes building metadata files for existing GIS data, updating existing data, preparing ArcGIS map templates for use by Forest Service specialists, conducting spatial analyses, and providing GIS technical support to Forest Service specialists and technicians
