This discussion will provide a brief overview of the geoprocessing tools for cartographic representations, as well as the purposes for which they were designed. A brief overview of some of the tools will help illustrate how and why they might be used to automate management of cartographic representations and map production work flow, and for quality control and error checking with feature representations.
