Proxima:pro allows the user to define a target locations table - typically a layer containing point records and then specify up to 15 fields of interest for that table. Using a menu or easy-access toolbox, users can perform where’s the nearest...? searches by entering a UK postcode / place name, performing a look-up against another user-specified table, or simply clicking on a map. The nearest target locations are then displayed. The interactive use of Proxima:pro is a powerful feature for any MapInfo Pro user who needs to perform an instant geographic look-up against a reference table.
