The 2000 census ranks Orange County California as the second most populous county in the state of California, and the fifth in the United States. Deploying a regional web based Fire AVL application was part of a multi pronged attack using the latest technologies to improve public safety by regionalizing fire safety data and vehicle resource tracking.
