Keigan Systems began in 1992 as a high-tech spin-off
from The University of Western Ontario. Initially named
'ThinkSpace,' the company’s first product was MAP II, a
raster GIS research and teaching tool for the Apple
Macintosh®. This was followed by Map.Factory, for Mac
and Windows. Both versions were well received, not only
in academia, but in government and industry.
