BMP is the Municipal Corporation of Bangalore City responsible for administering all engineering, health and revenue activities. The city is divided into various wards based on locality for efficient functioning. The project area was 4.9 sq kms covering Ward 76, which represents the prime area of the city with highest revenue collection.
