www.mapwares.com -- BookmarkTool - Enhanced! for ArcMap, stores layer visibility and remembers which data frame created the bookmark. Recalling a bookmark activates the data frame that created the bookmark, adjusts the visibility of each layer to the state it was in when the bookmark was created, and zooms the data frame to the stored extent. The standard BookmarkTool only stores extents.
Why use BookmarkTool - Enhanced?
Because each bookmark brings you back to the same place, in the same data frame that created it, and remembers which layers were on or off, it can be very helpful for working with map layouts and the layout manager.
