Located in Columbus, Georgia, about a hundred miles southwest of
Atlanta, Chemseal Asphalt Maintenance Co. provides seal coating and
striping for parking lots and recreational surfaces like running tracks
and tennis courts. In business for nearly 25 years, the company has
eight employees, four trucks, and 10 to 15 projects underway at any
one time. Founded by John Byrnside, the company is now owned and
run by his daughter, Deborah Algarin, and Byrnside serves as general
manager.
