Part of the project required the orthorectification of 2100+ historical analogue aerial photographs covering all the beaches throughout Australia. The photos were collected by Professor Andy Short for his study Beaches of the Australian Coast which surveyed 10 685 Mainland and 833 offshore island beaches.
