Featured Paper By Dan Stover & Brett Beaver

This presentation will illustrate one method for integrating ArcView and SynerGEE, a system modeling software, to generate Cost of Service (COS) calculations for select gas customers. Utilizing the strengths of each system, a pipe contribution report was generated and then linked in ArcView with other plant data creating a powerful yet easy to use application. Follow our trials and tribulations (including schedule constraints, staffing limitations, spatial differences, technology gaps, etc.) as we worked with paper, raster, vector, and database records to create a flexible and reusable solution.
