Drivers checking cars back into major rental agencies no longer have to park their car, brave the elements, walk into the rental office, stand in line at the counter, and hand over their credit card. Instead, an established car return system can be implemented. This simple means that the agency representative enters billing information into a Radix handheld computer, complete with an integral barcode reader and/or integral printer or a FP40 portable printer (carried on the representative's shoulder or belt) prints the driver's credit card receipt. The representative gives the receipt to the driver who is still seated comfortably in their rental car.
