The Croatian Army are utilizing a Radix handheld computer in their Field Artillery Fire Control Systems.
The Radix handheld computer is integrated with other sophisticated military equipment to ensure the new Field Artillery Fire Control System (FAFCSy) provides the best control over the field artillery. Before this new system, the Croatian Military used voice radio communications and special military maps, books and tables containing geographical data and weapon data. This old system was very complicated and hard to manage, a handheld computer system was considered the most effective replacement.
