In the wake of deregulation initiatives launched by the Japanese government to revive its banking industry, TCS helped a well-established bank improve operational efficiency through rationalization and consolidation of its IT assets. TCS conducted a detailed assessment of the IT environment, and recommended a value driven strategy that helped the bank provide better support, improve service levels, and reduce costs to the tune of $20 million.
