The World Economic Forum launched the Technology Pioneers programme in 2000 with the aim of identifying 30 to 50 companies with outstanding and innovative technologies every year. Thirty-six companies were selected as Technology Pioneers this year. This report was prepared by Apax Partners with the help of the Economist Intelligence Unit. All the companies mentioned in this report are winners of this year’s awards.
