The Woods Hole Group has been providing expert consulting services in the areas of coastal sciences and engineering since the late 1970s. Today, this area of expertise has grown into the division of Coastal Sciences,
Engineering, and Planning, or the "Coastal Group."
The Coastal Group boasts primarily Ph.D. and Masters level coastal engineers and coastal geologists, who are dedicated to applying their understanding of complex coastal processes to solving real world problems. The staff’s experience and background is diverse, providing the Coastal Group with the unique ability to service a wide range of Clients, including commercial companies, government entities at the local, state, and federal levels, as well as private homeowners and associations. Our solutions are tailored to meet each specific client’s needs, while at the same time maintaining a sensitivity to the environment and governing regulations.
