Accela Opens Registration for Partner and Developer Conference at Squaw Valley
SAN RAMON, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Jan 12, 2012 -- Accela, Inc., the leading provider of web- and cloud-based software for e-government, today opened registration for the Accela Partner & Developer Conference, to be held March 5 - 7, 2012, at the Resort at Squaw Creek in Squaw Valley, Calif. The expanded event will spotlight the new features of Accela Automation® 7.2, the forthcoming version of the company's flagship enterprise software, which will be delivered in the spring. The Conference will also include a certification program for Accela implementation partners, as well as provide access to the Accela Mobile SDK -- a software development kit featuring a collection of application programming interfaces (APIs) and tools for third-party and government agency developers, enabling them to build Accela-based apps for iOS, Windows Phone 7, and Android mobile devices. Partners and developers may learn about the Conference and register online at: www.accela.com/pdc. "We're excited at the possibilities afforded by this year's Conference, and the impact it will have on the services and solutions we offer our hundreds of government customers," said Don Nanneman, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Accela. "Our new certification program will ensure that Accela's implementation partners meet the highest standards, while the Accela Mobile SDK will spur the development of apps to meet the burgeoning demand for m-government solutions."
Benefits for Partners and Developers
The Partner & Developer Conference will be the first occasion for developers to gain hands-on access and training with the Developer Preview of the Accela Mobile SDK. By attending the Conference, developers will also receive background on Accela Automation and will leave the Conference having built their first Accela mobile app.
SDK Opens up Market-Leading Government Software Platform
The Accela Mobile SDK will be free for download, but will require registration with the Accela Developer Program. Further details about SDK components, as well as the Developer Program's costs and structure, will be announced at the Conference.
