January 19, 2012 -- Pixxures, Inc., a XeDAR company, announced today the company has approved a name change to Premier Geospatial, Inc. “We’re building a strong family of companies and we wanted the brand to have a more unified feel,” said Peter Briere, General Manager. “Premier Data Services has built a strong reputation providing land management solutions since 1994.  Premier Data Se

rvices and Premier Geospatial provide complementary services and products, and we’re pleased the synergy is now also reflected in our name.”

Premier Geospatial (PremierGeo), and Premier Data Services (Premier Data) are headquartered together in a 20,000 square-foot facility in Arvada, Colorado that houses more than 130 geospatial staff and a high-throughput computing environment. XeDAR has additional offices in New Mexico and Louisiana.

PremierGeo provides geospatial services to clients, including digital aerial imagery acquisition, orthophotography, LiDAR data acquisition and processing, remote sensing analysis, professional land surveying, historical imagery conversion and processing, and photogrammetric film scanning.  Premier Data provides diverse data management services and products including land records management, GIS application development, data entry, and microfiche and aperture card scanning.
