  • Overland Park, Kansas (January 26, 2012) – Black & Veatch announced today that the Smart Grid strategy and deployment expertise offered by Enspiria Solutions is now fully integrated with Black & Veatch. Black & Veatch acquired Enspiria Solutions in 2010 to provide clients with complete “concept through completion” expertise in Smart Grid solutions.    

    The integration enhances Black & Veatch’s Smart Utility® solutions for planning, developing, integrating and implementing complex technologies and programs for intelligent utility, cable and telecommunication companies.

    The Enspiria operations, based in Denver, are now part of Black & Veatch’s management consulting division. Black & Veatch’s management consulting division provides a wide range of advisory solutions including strategy and finance, regulatory support and compliance, customer engagement solutions, intelligent infrastructure planning and deployment and asset management, to clients involved with electric, natural gas and water and wastewater utility systems.

    The acquisition and integration of Enspiria Solutions with Black & Veatch brings experienced staff, technology expertise, disciplined methodologies, and a partnership approach to working with clients to solve their complex Smart Grid challenges.
