SPRING Technologies is a major player in the market for simulation and optimization software dedicated to production processes and resources. It is one of five companies that have just been shortlisted in the " Productivity " category of France’s Trophées de l’Innovation INDUSTRIE 2012 award.

The selected product is its new solution called SICOM  (Scalable and Interoperable Corrective Maintenance).
On February 13 2012, a jury of leading trade journalists specialized in a range of industrial sectors examined 128 submissions  before shortlisting 19 innovations in 5 categories  (environment, ergonomics, productivity, technologies and safety/security). The innovations will be competing for the prestigious Trophées de l’Innovation INDUSTRIE 2012 award and 5  of the 19 companies will be spotlighted  on Tuesday March 27  at the exhibitors’ gala evening at Salon Industrie, Paris-Nord Villepinte.

SPRING extends NCSIMUL SOLUTIONS with SICOM
SPRING has unveiled SICOM, a solution that delivers real-time management of corrective maintenance processes in the machining workshops, while enhancing their performance. SICOM is instrumented, interconnected and intelligent, enabling real-time management and predictive optimization of corrective maintenance processes, minimizing NC machine-tool downtime and reducing the amount of time spent on maintenance operations.
More details will be announced shortly.
CEO Gilles Battier says
"We are proud to have been nominated in the ‘productivity’ category, because this is the area where we make our n° 1 commitment to our customers. For over 25 years, innovation has been a core concern and our credo has always been about helping our customers to increase their productivity. Every year, we invest 20% of revenue in R&D. SICOM is the result of this research and our strong investment in the SYSTEMATIC competitiveness cluster. So it is very satisfying and logical for this groundbreaking software to be nominated for an award that recognizes the capacity to innovate".
