May 07, 2012 -- GISi, an Esri Platinum Partner, was recently designated by Esri as an ArcGIS for Local Government Specialty Partner.  GISi started implementing the ArcGIS for Local Government Information Model in the summer of 2011 and has been helping local governments implement ArcGIS for Local Government Maps and Applications since.

The specialty is designed for partners focused on the local government marketplace that want to work more closely with Esri on the development and deployment of ArcGIS for Local Government. 

GISi is looking forward to working with local governments to adopt and extend the Local Government Information Model and to contribute to the maps, applications, and tools that will be made available. “Our objective is to help Local Governments embrace the resources available from Esri’s ArcGIS for Local Government and see it as a way to help them maximize their investment in Esri technology,” says Kevin Stewart, Account Manager at GISi.
