exactEarth Announces Availability of the New exactAIS Arctic Archive™

Cambridge, ON- August 1, 2012 exactEarth Ltd., the leading provider of satellite AIS data services, announced the release of a new pre-packaged data product, exactAIS Arctic Archive™.  This new product contains complete coverage of all maritime traffic activity in the Arctic for the summer months of 2010 and 2011.  The exactAIS® system offers unprecedented global coverage including excellent coverage in the remote regions of the Arctic.  Data has been processed and summarized from exactEarth’s extensive archive and is now available in annual sets covering July-October of 2010 and 2011.

exactAIS Arctic Archive gives authorities greater insight into the shipping activities of the Arctic during the summer months when ice levels lower to allow for increased vessel traffic.  Analysis for ice and traffic patterns is made simple with this complete and comprehensive overview of all vessel activity in the Arctic.

“We are very proud and excited to announce this addition to our product offering” commented Dave Martin, VP, Product Management at exactEarth.  “exactAIS Arctic Archive builds upon our existing and proven exactAIS service and provides the most complete record of Arctic vessel movements, now delivered as a pre-packaged data set for easy use.”
