Esri's new Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS provides organizations with a real-time common operating picture to monitor events, operations, assets, deliveries of goods and services, and more. The app, which can be downloaded for free with an ArcGIS Online organizational subscription, can be customized to display data that's coming from various sources, including live feeds, into maps, bar charts, histograms, lists, and gauges.
To learn how to work with this lightweight desktop app, tune in to the live training seminar Monitor Data Using Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS on April 4, 2013.
The presenters will explain how the app works and its benefits. They also will demonstrate how to use Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS to author an operation view of your data, add maps and configure them with widgets, and then customize the view with bar charts and other indicators. You will see how to save and store your operation view and then make it available to colleagues through your ArcGIS Online subscription or via ArcGIS for Server.
The seminar will be useful to GIS professionals and others in an organization that monitors activities, events, and systems. Examples include those who work in defense, the petroleum industry, emergency management, public safety, utilities, health care, government services, and elections.
You will need a broadband Internet connection and an Esri Global Account to watch the live training seminar. Creating an Esri Global Account is easy and free: visit esri.com/lts, click Login, and register your name and address.
