May 02, 2013 -- GeoCento is a company dedicated to making it simpler for everyone who needs to access the right earth imagery for their application.
EarthImages, created by GeoCento in partnership with SaVoir software developer Taitus, will be the technology that opens up every single imagery option, from every supplier to users
It will bring the world’s users of earth observation images (a fast and continually growing group) together with all of the commercial suppliers of this vital data whilst allowing them to compare and contrast the available offerings. This will give users a unique opportunity to choose exactly the right data based on resolution, price, age etc.
To ensure that both suppliers and users are aware of this valuable service, GeoCento has contracted the geo-technology marketing agency Quarry One Eleven to design and execute the vital marketing campaign that will support the EarthImages launch.
Speaking about the forthcoming launch of the EarthImages portal, GeoCento Managing Director Kim Partington remarked; “Earth observation has demonstrated great capabilities, but in order to fulfil its market potential, effective tools are needed to help users, including those developing value-added services, to search and select data from the growing sources and types available. EarthImages will provide such a service”
Alistair Maclenan, Managing Director of Quarry One Eleven said; “GeoCento’s EarthImages will allow the remote sensing imagery market place to mature and grow by providing a service that matches users to the data they want and need. I am thrilled that Quarry One Eleven is supporting GeoCento to get their message heard and understood.”
