IDModeling and Azteca Systems Partner to Deliver Real-time, Operations and Maintenance Management for Water Utilities

September 17, 2013 -- ARCADIA, CA - IDModeling, Inc. and Azteca Systems, Inc. have announced a strategic partnership, enhancing the depth and reach of each company's respective solutions. IDModeling's Sedarū® software and Azteca Systems' Cityworks® software combine to deliver a connected, predictive, and analytics-driven operations and maintenance (O&M) management solution.

Sedarū (See Data Run) software enables water industry professionals to communicate, predict water operations, understand impacts, and solve problems. Cityworks delivers a cost-effective GIS-centric management suite for asset management, permitting, licensing, and other needs. Together, Sedarū and Cityworks offer a connected platform to distribute real-time O&M analytics across the utility to improve efficiency, quality, customer service, and project planning.

"Our companies share similar values, depth of relationships with our customers, and a deep mutual respect for each other's core strengths of network analysis and utility maintenance management," stated Paul Hauffen, CEO of IDModeling. "Water utilities can't manage what they can't measure, and this strategic partnership allows Sedarū to monitor, generate, and enhance the value of O&M analytics for both operational and asset management applications."

When combined with IDModeling's Sedarū software, Cityworks' work order and maintenance management data gets supported with hydraulics, predictive network analysis, organizational communication, and is distributed to other groups across the water utility, for access, action, and comprehensive real-time analytics within a mobile, configurable, and distributing platform for holistic water utility management.

"Managing assets is a process focused on ensuring the safety and reliability of public infrastructure," said Brian Haslam, President and CEO of Azteca Systems, Inc. "That process relies heavily on understanding the asset characteristics, the relationships between assets and their performance over time. Sedarū and Cityworks combine to provide utility managers with a seamless and predictive O&M solution that helps them prepare and react more effectively and efficiently."
