Webinar Reviews Russia's Strategic Missile Forces

Dec 3, 2014 -- Tatischevo
is home to the 60th Missile Division of the 27th Guards Missile Army. SAR imagery captured by Airbus Defense and Space indicates substantial infrastructure repair and expansion taking place at Tatischevo, including the potential deployment of a new missile system in the near future.

In their first joint webinar, IHS Jane's and Airbus Defense and Space will showcase the benefits of using very high resolution SAR satellite imagery for image intelligence tasks. The new TerraSAR-X sub-meter data (down to 25 cm spatial resolution) allows IHS Jane's to exploit information with a high level of detail. The special characteristics of SAR imagery allow a very easy, rapid and reliable recognition of recent changes.
