May 11, 2016 -- Main functions of the GISconnector for Excel:

  • Transfer data between ArcGIS and Excel without an editing session
  • Exchange selections and filters/defintion queries between ArcGIS and Excel 
  • Export ArcGIS data to Excel in a new worksheet or connect to existing Excel data
  • Export your Excel data directly into an ArcGIS table or connect your Excel data to an exisiting feature class or table

In Version 2.1 we added GISconnector for Excel Tutorials:

  • Currently "Quick Tutorial Starter" is available, which helps the user getting started easier.

  • Hint messages for getting started easier
  • Improved user documentation
  • Information in the log output
  • License information in the About display
  • Information when column name is invalid
  • Warning when Excel column format "General" is used
  • Warning when transferring numbers
  • Analyse log for GISconnector problems
