Questar Gas Chooses MapFrame as their Mobile Mapping and Field Automation Provider

DALLAS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—January 15, 2008— MapFrame Corporation announced today Questar Gas has chosen FieldSmart(R) View and Field Flow Manager(TM) for their mobile mapping and field automation software. MapFrame will compress and extend Questar's ESRI GIS data out of the office and into the hands of the transmission field workers.

"We're pleased to be working with MapFrame and are excited to install FieldSmart View for our transmission viewing field application. We chose MapFrame and their viewing application for its simplicity, speed and ease of use," said Mark Warner, Director of Engineering Support and project sponsor for the deployment of FieldSmart View.

FieldSmart View is MapFrame's core field automation product. View will provide an easy-to-use format for transmission field workers to view, query and navigate maps. Field Flow Manager will handle data flow between the office and the field, driving an incremental update process to synchronize data and keep field maps and related data current.

"Because our applications are designed for mobility, Questar's entire enterprise will have the ability to access map and related data from anywhere," said Paul Wilson, MapFrame President and Founder. "We are proud to welcome Questar to our growing base of utility customers."
