The first joint project between the two companies focuses on the delivery of a series of practically-oriented training modules designed to provide a complete reference course for AUTOSAR 2.1 and 3.0. Primarily targeted at automotive embedded systems engineers but also suitable for senior management in the automotive industry, the training modules not only provide participants with a thorough understanding of the AUTOSAR concept, methodology and tools but also the ability to solve real development challenges and problems encountered in the workplace. The training courses feature the extensive use of practical exercises and use cases that utilize Geensys’ AUTOSAR Builder development tool in conjunction with the Infineon Tricore and Freescale S12XE hardware platforms.

The AUTOSAR training course comprises four modules all of which are available immediately:
- Module 1 is targeted at general business, project, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing managers in the automotive industry and provides them with an in-depth understanding of the goals, standards, methods and processes specified and recommended by AUTOSAR.
- Module 2 is intended to provide project managers, technical managers, system architects, system development engineers, software architects and software developers with an understanding of the technical concepts behind AUTOSAR and how they are represented in the current specification.
- Module 3 focuses on the software architecture issues relating to AUTOSAR and is intended to provide technical managers, system development engineers, software architects, software/hardware developers and validation engineers with the ability to implement applications and validate functionality.
- Module 4 is aimed at project managers, technical managers, system architects, system development engineers, software architects, software/hardware developers and validation engineers and equips them with a thorough understanding of constraints methodology and available tools for the development of AUTOSAR applications.
