Dexter + Chaney Doubles Its Office Space With Completion of Second Building

SEATTLE, September 9, 2008: Dexter + Chaney ( www.dexterchaney.com), developer of Spectrum(R) Construction Software, has doubled the size of its office space with the completion of a second office building on the company-owned 2.3-acre campus in North Seattle. The new building, covering 12,000 square feet of space on three floors, is adjacent to the building that the company has occupied since 1999.

“The combined 24,000 square feet of office space between the two buildings will provide plenty of room for our firm to expand,” said John Chaney, Dexter + Chaney co-founder and president. “We’re committed to helping our construction-company clients grow their businesses. As a result, Dexter + Chaney must grow along with them; opening the new building is an important step in this ongoing process.”

The new building features classroom facilities that will enable Dexter + Chaney to conduct training for its clients onsite. Its architecture matches that of the existing building and complements the natural beauty of the Dexter + Chaney campus. The site features dozens of evergreen and leaf-bearing trees that are native to the Northwest, an outdoor lunch space and other employee-friendly amenities.

“We’re delighted with the new building,” Chaney explained. “It fits perfectly into the pleasant, peaceful ‘urban oasis’ that contributes to our employees’ productivity and satisfaction.”
