NAVTEQ map data and content enable innovative retail solutions for market planning and site selection
Chicago – March 1, 2011 – NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of maps, traffic and location data enabling navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising around the world, announced today that it has established a reseller agreement with Tango Management Consulting, LLC (TMC), a full service management consultancy providing technology solutions for retail, commercial and corporate real estate clients.
As an authorized NAVTEQ reseller, TMC will provide NAVTEQ® map and location content in its new Oracle-based retail market optimization solution. The solution helps retailers with market planning and site selection through the use of visualization, analytics and geocoding based on NAVTEQ map data. By using this solution, customers will have the tools to obtain higher returns on invested capital, prioritize markets and trade areas, and provide market and location intelligence.
Map and location content are core components to improving retail business processes including market analysis, site selection and logistics management. NAVTEQ maps enable retailers to understand and visualize these geographic relationships and improve productivity, effectiveness and efficiency in their processes.
