Mid-year release includes new editions of HouseholdSpend and WealthScapes plus four new behavioural databases
TORONTO, JULY 8, 2016 – Environics Analytics (EA) today announced the release of its mid-year 2016 data products, including updates of its core financial products and the launch of four new behavioural databases examining Canadian travel patterns, environmental attitudes, social engagement and philanthropic activities. The new data products add to EA’s suite of 40 databases—already the most comprehensive set of marketing-related data in Canada—that help organizations understand their customers and solve their business challenges.
The release covers 11 data products, including HouseholdSpend, which provides estimates of annual expenditures for 471 goods and service, and WealthScapes, EA’s database of 178 key financial variables that detail Canadians’ assets, liabilities and income. This year, EA also released two new variations of the popular database: WealthScapes Daytime, which provides financial data about the population that’s reachable in any area during daytime hours; and WealthScapes Fundraiser, which examines the giving capacity of prospective donors. EA’s four new behavioural datasets—built using national Statistics Canada’s surveys—are TravelCanada, GreenLiving, CommunityLife and GivingBack.
