Raleigh, NC – January 15, 2007 – TerraServer®, the leader in online imagery, has recently hired Brian Randy Funk as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). TerraServer® is an Internet mapping company which owns and operates the pioneering TerraServer.com website.

Prior to joining TerraServer®, Funk was employed with LandNet Corporation where he was instrumental in the development and operation of the LandVoyage mapping and imagery website. Funk joined the company in 2001 and had been with LandVoyage since its inception. Additionally, Funk has been an active member of the geospatial industry, most recently serving on the Board of Directors of the Rocky Mountain Geospatial Information & Technology Association (GITA).

As the new COO of TerraServer®, Funk will oversee and plan the reorganization and growth of the company. He will be responsible for increasing operational efficiency and developing innovative technology strategies.
