MADISON, WI – January 29, 2007 – GeoAnalytics® Inc., an IT consulting firm that specializes in the planning, design, and implementation of spatial intelligence systems, and their partners Varion Systems (a division of GeoAnalytics), PG Govern, and CompassCom, have been retained by Pasco County, Florida to deliver a state of the art Development Services System (DSS). As the County embarks on a Countywide IT infrastructure and systems upgrade, Varion Systems will implement a Land Management solution, an Enterprise Addressing System (EAS), and an Automated Vehicle Location System (AVL) as part of the DSS project.
The DSS will consist of Govern Software’s suite of Land Management software - Govern for Windows, Govern.Web, and eGovernment components; Varion System’s GIS based Web portal - PV.Web; Varion Systems’ AVL presentation solution – tracServe; and CompassCom’s mobile asset tracking server software – LDE Server. “This project represents a significant advancement for the County’s technology systems which will allow them to streamline a variety of processes,” said GeoAnalytics’ project manager Terry Hickey.
